I’m Asim, a children’s book illustrator. Art has been part of my life since early childhood, growing from an instinct to draw into a lifelong practice of observing, imagining, and telling stories through images.

With a background in fine arts, I work digitally, bringing a painterly approach to colour, texture, and composition. I’m drawn to the possibilities within words—how a sentence can suggest an entire landscape, or a passing detail can reveal a character’s personality. Through expressive characters and unexpected perspectives, I create scenes that invite readers to linger, explore, and find something beyond the written story.

I guide projects from initial concepts and character development through finished illustrations, book formatting, and preparation for print. At every stage, my focus is on the relationship between words and images, and the rhythm that carries a reader from one page to the next.
