Born and raised in New York City, I moved to Michigan to attend college and study art. That was many years and 3 kids ago. I began drawing because, like many nerds my age, I grew up on a steady diet of Marvel and DC comics. Back then they were the most affordable source of steady new reading material you could easily convince your parents to purchase. I was also personally a big fan of Piers Anthony, Douglas Adams, Stephen King and Tolkien. Real life meant putting creative ambitions aside while the kids grew up. But now I'm all yours!
