Jackie was born in Leeds, England, and had a passion for drawing from a very early age. She took a degree in illustration at Brighton University, and made the city her home for many years afterwards. Initially specialising in natural history books, animals still feature strongly in much of her work, Her favourite medium is watercolour with or without a dip-pen or pencil line, but she is equally happy to work digitally.
Jackie now lives in southern France with her husband in a small village, surrounded by her favourite thing – the countryside.
