I'm Javier, born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As a boy I was obsessed with animation and comics, but since there weren't any schools where you could learn that professionally, I studied Fine Arts at IUNA, where I spent a lot of time analysing the importance of an upside down urinal, but not enough time drawing. My cartoony style got me a lot work doing children’s books, which is kind of my thing now. I like doing children's books specially because if a kid doesn't like what I draw, I can still make them smile with a fart noise, something that only happens half of the time with adults. My dream is to one day do a children’s book starring an upside down urinal. People in the future will study that book and use it as reference for the “artists that should draw but not write their own book” subject.
